Wynter Rayne

Wynter is mostly a self taught beader. The challenge of bringing glass beads together with needle and thread is a favorite quest. Her designs are original and always a surprise when finished. Her bracelets fluid and bright, earrings light and breezy and lastly her memory bags. The bags are special to each person. Whether they hold a stone, jewelry, a feather or other personal ephemera, each one touches the heart of the recipient.

Wynter’s jewelry is constructed using various stitches. Favorite stitches are flat and round peyote, square stitch and brick stitch along with Victorian netting. Her preferred bead types are seed beads, barrel shaped and and cut glass beads. They are constructed in-hand without a loom. Her designs are Art Deco influenced. The meeting of angles and lines combined with a lot of color is a visual dance.
