Some people charge money for pussyhats they make and that’s fine. Mine are free of charge because it’s enough for me to think about all of the people wearing them in the upcoming women’s marches.

The one thing I would appreciate from someone who gets one of my hats is a photo of the recipient wearing that hat in a march, and permission to include the photo on my website. I don’t plan to include marchers’ names.

A recipient who feels the need to hand over money can instead send that money to Planned Parenthood or the ACLU or the people handling the pussyhat donations for the Washington march or some other organization of their choice.
