Knitting and sewing pussy hats for the Women’s March on Washington, and the associated march in Portland, helped keep me grounded in January 2017. I’m not much of a knitter, but I knit ten and then sewed lots more out of pink fleece. I asked people who received my hats to send me photos of themselves at marches, and several of them did.
